    Business Manager, sales manager, business development, training North West, Derry, Londonderry, Coleraine, Limavady


    Our Client is seeking to expand their existing sales team in Northern Ireland, due to new contracts & business expansion plans. To assist with this growth they are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Manager to be based on the North Coast/North West of the province.

    Purpose of Role
    To develop, lead and manage a business and team to maximise contract performance, deliver quality provision and exceed the expectations of partners and clients in line with the company ethos of ‘Improving Peoples Lives’.
     
    Key Result Areas
    ·         Maximising contract performance by fully understanding contractual obligations and performance targets. ·         Agreeing and setting targets with staff members to ensure both financial and contractual obligations are met and exceeded. ·         Effectively plan and control income and expenditure to ensure a profitable business by maximising contract performance. ·         Recruit, manage, develop and maintain discipline of staff employed in the office. ·         Identify growth opportunities by sourcing and securing new leads in order to expand the income streams for the office. ·         Attendance at meetings, seminars and training sessions in pursuit of continuous development.   Experience ·         Previous people management responsibility comparable to the scope of the office ·         Experience gained within a commercial, customer-focused environment ·         Experience of involvement with unemployed and / or disadvantaged people ·         Previous budgetary management responsibility ·         Previous experience of dealing with government departments and / or complex contracting arrangements ·         IT literate
